Perth Football Club

Perth

Perth Football Club was established in 1899, more than one hundred and twenty years ago. It was formerly named Victoria Park Football Club, and the name was officially changed in 1935. They are nicknamed the Demons or the Redlegs, and rightly so.

The team colours are black and red, like the demons they are named after. The coach and captain are Earl Spalding and Corey Yeo, respectively. This team is currently the third in the Nation Premier League for West Australia.

Perth Football Club has won seven premierships, and it won its first one in 1907. It didn’t win another one until 1955. Some of the notable players include Troy Cook, Leon Davis, Ryan Hargrave, Michael Johnson, and Mark Coughlan.

Juniors

Perth Football Club has a section specifically for young children who want a career in football or simply want to have fun on the field. The age limit for junior players is sixteen years for boys and seventeen for girls. There are also openings for parents or people who love children and would love to volunteer for these training sessions. If you are an experienced player or coach and would love to volunteer in any capacity, you are also welcome. Be sure to check in regularly for ongoing recruitments.

Seniors

Seniors are football players above the age of 16. These are the real faces of the club, and they are the ones who compete in league competitions like the National Premier League for West Australia and the Night Series. If you are a football lover and would love to participate actively on the field as a player or simply be content watching these matches, you need a membership with Club Football WA.
